I recently bought a Swiss Military Hanowa Model 6-4131 watch from an online eBay seller based in Germany (27639 Feedback, 3660 last 12 months with 99.4% positive). However, I am having doubts about its authenticity. Just bought an Airboss Mach 6 from the same ebay seller (skoda_boy) for 45% of retail, brand new, no box. My brand new Ambassador Chronograph XL LE has the Victorinox/Swiss Army and the cross on the dial, the older ones don't have Victoinox, just Swiss Army and the cross. I'm guessing Victorinox dumped the older watches on the gray market..

As for the watch on left, I believe it is a fake because on dial it says 300m-1000ft water resistant quarts yet on rear it says Swiss made 330feet / water resistant stainless steel - Swiss army 6000. The dial also completely glows in dark. Technically, it is not a fake, as they are using their own brand logo. They are, however, using unscrupulous business practices, attempting to fool consumers into thinking they are buying a Victinox "Swiss Army" watch... A "real" Swiss Army watch isn't a Swiss Army watch. It's a Victorinox, maker of Swiss Army knives. Whatever that thing is, it ain't a Victorinox.
