I’m not a real vintage expert, but my understanding is that the “rivet” bracelets were made from the ‘50’s into the ‘70’s. There are two versions: Swiss-made Rolex bracelets (models 7205 and 7206, made into the early ‘70’s) and USA-made C&I bracelets (made into the late ‘70’s).An exceptionally rare rivet stretch bracelet – original fitment for Rolex Daytona 6239/6241. This 6635 with correct 57 end links is date stamped ’64 in the clasp and is in almost mint original condition.Hi VRF: I have for sale this very rare early version 19mm Rolex straight end spring load Rivet bracelet, inside clasp stamped 1 52. Recently refinished, Inside spring(elastic) works very well and tight, 5+7 links. Below are some photos to help identify a genuine Rolex Swiss rivet 7206 bracelet. This bracelet was used throughout the 1950s (and possibly earlier) and was discontinued with the introduction of the 9315 bracelet (latest known clasp date stamp for the 7206 is 1969.)

The end links on Swiss Rivet bracelets were always stamped with a two digit code while U.S. rivet bracelets had no markings on the end links. Folded link bracelets and solid link bracelets had three digit codes. Up until this date, the Oyster bracelet only came with straight ends, but finally patent number 303,005 breathed life into the vaunted end links, which completed the Rolex look as we know it today.
