Review of My PAM 082 from Davidsen (PICS!)
My Davidsen Titanium 082 was just delivered. Unfortunately for you guys, I am not adept at taking photos, so no pics.So I will I try and describe it as best. Just traded this one with member aapx, great transaction !! This one is great, the dial is just awsome. This is the first davidsen case I have and it feels a little funny, I cant point it out but its feels diffrent the crystal seems to be huge in comparision with my others..maybe I . It's nice to see two modded 082's on the forum! Here's one done by another super talented artist, the man The Zigmeister himself! My watch started out as one of the first offered by Davidsen, and although a beautiful piece already, the dial screamed for a re-lume.
It appears that currently it is only Davidsen who carries the 082. On first glance it would also appear to be the most accurate out of box PAM out there. However, there are some flaws as I'll point out below. I purchased a Second hand JOA (another popular option is the Davidsen make) for my higher quality Swiss option and a Sterile "Marina Militare" (MM) from Military Time, a common and more respected source for the Chinese clone choice. hi all, here the pam 082 marina militare amerigo vespucci: case pam177H-serie titanium with gen sapphire: from a good friend, dial, hands and titanium caseback: davidsen, Crown: palp movement gen swiss made unitas 6497 cote de geneva: tourby, strap: strapmasters amerigo vespucci, enjoy yourself !. I really liked the look of Panerai's but could never really see myself paying that much for a watch. Anyways after hours and hours of reading I ended up going with Davidsen mainly because he has gotten a lot of happy customers and his price range was on the lower end.
